The most advanced ships available to the Atlantis Expedition, the Asgard upgraded Odyssey and USAF built Daedalus, Apollo and George Hammond were originally your average 304. After the Asgard core was installed on the Odyssey, the USAF set about duplicating the technology, and successfully integrated Asgard weapon, sensor and shield systems into the Daedalus, Apollo and Hammond. Despite the full disclosure agreement, these new additions have not been given to the other countries currently contributing to the Tau'ri fleet - much to the dislike of those countries.

BC-304

The workhorse of the Tau'ri fleet, in a manner of speaking, the 304 is the combination of Air Force ingenuity and alien technology. Derived primarily from Goa'uld technology, with some non-offensive additions from the Asgard such as beaming and somewhat more advanced shields, the 304 is a capable ship. Only Ori ships and the 305 have so far proved superior, but in a new galaxy who knows what might happen. Sometimes found "schlepping" from Atlantis to Earth for supplies and fresh personnel, though there is usually enough of a foreign presence to ensure the USAF doesn't commandeer the Pegasus Expedition.

BC-303

Originally known as the Prometheus project, this was the first class of deep space cruisers available to the USAF. After the destruction of the Prometheus at the hands of an Ori satellite weapon, the 303 was significantly updated in the 304.

F-302

A space-worthy fighter with entirely human-made components, the F-302 is present on every 304 and 305 in use, and the plans to the 302 have been given to every nation involved in the Expedition as part of the full disclosure agreement. After the disaster that was the 301, the USAF was hesitant to start the project again. But, convincing evidence was presented and the F-302 went on to save Earth from total destruction. Again.

Practically a Goa'uld death glider with a USAF sticker slapped on the side, the F-301 was a complete and utter failure. The project was abandoned soon after the failed test flight.

PUDDLE JUMPER

First discovered by SG-1 in the form of Janus' second time-jumper, the Puddle Jumper is an Ancient small transport ship obviously designed for effective space gate travel. Little is know about its systems, though they do have a cloak similar to that of a Goa'uld transport (possibly the source of the Goa'uld cloaks).

ANCIENT WARSHIP

The Ancient warship is an impressive vessel capable of overcoming even several Wraith hives. Unfortunately, most were eventually destroyed after being ambushed and severely outnumbered during the Wraith war. They feature drone weapons, run of the mill Ancient shields and several Puddle Jumper docking bays.

ANCIENT CITY-SHIP

The largest ships discovered by the SGC to date, the Ancient City-ships are true to their name. Estimated to be the size of ____, these cities were designed to be inhabited by thousands, if not millions. Designed to be powered by three ZPMs, the ships are extremely fragile when unprotected. Fortunately, the advanced Ancients had sufficient shields and other means of protecting the enormous cities, such as grounding stations. Limited functionality can be achieved with naquadah generators, but the city requires three ZPMs to enter space with a fully functioning shield.
